Ivan D

Hi, I'm Ivan! I'm a CSIA Level 2 ski instructor and a CASI Level 1 snowboard instructor with about 30 years of teaching experience at resorts across Ontario. I started skiing at 16 and began instructing in 1997, and I've logged thousands of hours teaching since.

I'm an all-around outdoor enthusiast. Besides skiing and snowboarding, I'm also a certified windsurfing and SUP instructor, and I enjoy photography. I have a BSc in mechanical engineering, so I like breaking technique down into simple, clear mechanics that students can feel and repeat.

I've skied Whistler/Blackcomb and love challenging terrain, but my favourite lessons are the ones where a student's confidence takes off. I teach weekdays at Lakeridge and at Mount St. Louis Moonstone, and I look forward to seeing you on the hill.
